Yep. Nearly three months have passed. I have won the worst blogger of the year award with flying colors.
Okay, I'm over it. Here are some of the latest pictures of our girl... she is growing up WAY too quickly for this Mama's heart to handle.
This is her favorite face to make. I love it, to be honest. It has allowed me to freeze that bubbly, precious personality so I'll never forget it... and so I can share it with my tens of followers. :)
These days, if it has to do with being outside, count Addie in! She likes to play in the pool (or just with the water hose... she's easily entertained), sidewalk chalk, blocks, the slide, the park, the creek... or just running through the yard while screaming, "I runnin!" :)
See? More time outside. She also likes to pick flowers. We're working hard to "just look." :)
Addie also loves to swing. And she's addicted to sunglasses. :) We have at least 8 pair that I can think of off the top of my head. Dollar bin at Target, thankyouverymuch.
Mama's new favorite picture.
She loves "hiding" from us. You know, she covers her eyes and is magically invisible. That game is the best. She hides every afternoon when she hears the garage open letting her know Eric is home from work. :) Somehow he always finds her. He's good.
Addie's favorite day of the week is Saturday. Why? "My 'nastics," of course. She asks quite often if it's Saturday, and when it's finally the right day, she'll come to our room in the morning and scream "IT'S SATURDAY!" :) Love it. She's getting very strong. She has mastered jumping, seat drops, swinging and dropping from the bars, sprinting walking across the beginner balance beam, and holding on to the zip line by herself.
Finally caught the jump on camera. :)
One more pic... here are the miracles of Team J.A.C. We had a great turnout at the March of Dimes walk this year! More pics to come in my next post... you know. In September. :)
...and just for my benefit, here are Addie's latest stats.
Clothes: 18 month shirts and pajamas; 12 month shorts; 12/18 month dresses
Shoes: 5 or 6
Diaper: 3 (hopefully, not too many more boxes of diapers. Crazy that it's time for that!)
Weight: around 26 pounds (soaking wet)
Height: around 33 inches maybe? I'll have to check the growth chart tomorrow.
Food likes: pancakes/syrup (is there sugar in syrup? then YES! ha), eggs, sausage, bananas, grapes, apples, creamed corn, corn, carrots, pizza, macaroni and cheese, chicken, chicken and rice from Amigo's, chips and salsa, fruit snacks, raisins, cookies, milk, juice, water... she's not too picky, thankfully. Seems to be going through a growth spurt. I'll take it.
Favorites: puzzles, baby dolls, playing outside, puzzles, pretend cooking, reading any book she can get her hands on, puzzles, pretend talking on the phone (hilarious), puzzles. You get the drift.
Man, it's hard to imagine how much we love this child. She's pretty much amazing.

This is completely random but we have so much in common I thought I would comment. I stumbled upon you blog after I saw a picture of the shadow box you made for your daughter on pinterest. I saw how much she weighed and instantly felt a connection. My daughter was born the July before yours and she was also born at 27 weeks. She weighed 2 lbs 11 oz and was 15 inches long. Almost identical to your little one! I read through her story and the memories came flooding back. Anyway, just thought I would let you know how amazing your daughter is! She is truly a miracle and such a cute one at that! My blog is private but if you're interested in reading my daughter's story or just want to see who was " blog stalking " you...just shoot me an email!
